Realization

I had his face in my hands,
Kissed him softly on the lips.
Such uncertain and stupid thoughts,
The stupid arguments I wish we never would have had.
But they put a point across,
The point that love was too strong.
I smiled,
I couldn't believe I almost let my heart go.
The world would grow around us,
Rain would fall.
Things were said,
But who knew about them anymore.
They were all forgotten when we were together,
When we were hand in hand.
Something calmed my whole body,
Was is telling me something?
I had no clue.
I only knew what I felt,
What was true in all senses.
That I love him, and that I always would.
